These days setting up an interactive space to use with your students is very simple and is free as well. First you need to decide what type of space you want to set up and how you want to use it:
How would you use these site types?
a traditional site
a VLE
a commercially produced platform like Macmillan Campus or English 365
One of the easiest spaces to use is one like the wiki you are on now. You can do this now to set up a space for your learners: 1) Go to the top of the page, and look at the "Join" (accedi) tab on the right; 2) Click on it and join wikispaces (all you need is one person's email address and off you go); 3) You will see that when you join you are asked if you want to create a wiki... click on yes and decide on a name for your wiki; 4) When you have created the space you will be on the home page. You can begin editing this straight away (click on edit) Make your home page for your TP group. Decide what information you want to put on it, what type of activity and how you want to use the discussion page on the right. To get an idea look at my Hartledistancelearning space.
Write: a welcome message some instructions one activity one useful link one discussion post for ss to do. (to get an idea look at the discussion question I have posted for you above on the right) You can post your answers there now or later, as you wish)
